lulz-time:
ok shut your whore mouths, not like your country doesnt have assholes. 9/11 was a ATTACK on us, we were in war with Japan and even so after we helped clean up. Second off not all of us are racist against African Americans. And we only lost to Canada because they got “Daddy’s” help aka The British FUCKING EMPIRE.
I could go on but I’d not like to bore you.
But you ought to understand that we make ourselves look too high and mighty, when in reality we are hypocrites. Yes, we were attacked on September 11th, but what happened to the citizens of Hiroshima is INCOMPARABLE to 9/11 because it was WORSE than 9/11. 3,000 innocent people died in the 9/11 attacks. 90,000–166,000 were killed in the Hiroshima bombing. All who were, by the way, INNOCENT. A bit unfair to those people, don’t you think?
You’re right, not all of America is racist. BUT, because of the slavery and further demotion of social class to the African American people until the late 60s, that’s how they were treated. That’s what that poster is trying to say: IT MAKES NO SENSE THAT AMERICA IS BLAMING THEM. They didn’t DO anything. Think of it like the holocaust: The Jews were being blamed for all of Germany’s problems, when in reality they did nothing. It’s the same thing.
It makes me sick to know what some men in our military have done to Arab people and then say all they want is peace. They’re the ones who started the trouble. I’m not saying all of our military is like that, because obviously that’s not true, but that’s somewhat the American government is either ignoring or outright dismissing.
One last thing: We are not the freest country. That’s a load of patriot bullshit. It’s okay to have pride in your country, don’t get me wrong, I totally do, but patriots take it too fucking far and make our country look like the biggest idiot on the entire Earth. Wanna know why other countries find us so annoying? That’s why. Too much self-pride. One last thing that adds to this is, if we’re so strong, why did we lose to Canada AND Vietnam? Exactly.
Again, it’s okay to be proud of your country. But don’t let yourself think that we stand above everyone else. We don’t.
